TVPaint is Great!
Aaron's animation software of preference is called TVPaint. It's an awesome software and in Aaron's opinion is the closest thing to animating on paper. In fact, he actually prefers it to paper these days. (Shhhh!)

What About Other Software? ToonBoom, Harmony, Krita, Adobe Animate (flash), etc.?
The truth is that any software has pros & cons. Aaron has not tried all of these so he can not say that he recommends them. There are many professional animators in the industry that use these tools.
This is why the majority of the courses on our website are NOT software specific. (Including animation) - You can use whatever software you like. Even pencil & paper!
