TVPaint is Great!
Aaron's animation software of choice is called TVPaint. It's awesome software and, in Aaron's opinion, is the closest thing to animating on paper. In fact, he actually prefers it to paper these days. (Shhhh!)

What About Other Software? Toon Boom, Harmony, Krita, Adobe Animate (Flash), etc.?
The truth is that any software has pros & cons. Aaron has not tried all of these, so he can not say that he recommends them. Many professional animators in the industry use these tools.
This is why the majority of the courses on our website are NOT software-specific. (Including animation) You can use whatever software you like. Even pencil & paper!
